Attracted by the music since the age of 3, with a classical music background as a boy, Markus Riva is pursuing his dreams in playing, performing and creating songs.

Markus Riva’s latest solo CD “Songs From NYC” features radio hits like “Love To You”, “Quiz”, “Can’t Sleep” and “Chase” and he was recently awarded the most stylish performer in Latvia in 2011. Markus scored a #1 iTunes hit with a song by Gaitis Lazdans and his track “How It Feels To Be A Man” went straight to #1 and was featured on the international compilation by EQ Music and Aztec Records “This Beat Is Poptronik Vol.1″.

In 2012, he released the song “We Dance For Reason” featuring Ralph (from beat-box duo PeR) after their victory at the Magic Dance Gala 2012 and still has a big airplay in summer 2012.
